Class Reunions...Do you love em or hate em?...
I don't know, because I've never attended ...until tonight...My 35th high school reunion...
I'm dying to go....to catch up with old friends...but I'm nervous too...
Going by myself and I'm not one to enjoy strutting my stuff...

We've all changed...don't look like we used to...

Not that I EVER looked like that...
But what do you wear?...How do you strike up meaningful conversation with people you haven't seen in years?...So many things to think about????? It's giving me a headache!!!

Sister's bet is...even though my plans are not to stay too long...I won't want to leave...and will be talking about it for days...

What do you think?
It's your turn. Let's talk!
And now for things that I am much more comfortable with...

I went to my 25th reunion a few years ago with a great amount of trepidation! It turned out to be the best fun and it dawned on me that many of us had hardly changed at all, inwardly that is, and we just took up where we had left off 25 years previously. Have fun x Sharon
Can't wait to see how it turned out! Whether you had fun or not. Yes, everyone changes but in your case you are GORGEOUS! If the caddy girls from high school turned into caddy women then they will be glaring you down! You are beautiful and successful - kind of a perfect combination to attend a High School reunion!! xo
What a fun post..love all the pics! Have a great time, have never been but have to say I absoltuely want to! And I will..thanks for the reminder to be sure I am on the current mailing list. Enjoy!
Mona,
I've only been to one high school reunion and it was my 20th. Husband went with me and I had a relatively good time. Most people didn't recognize me...wearing a name tag helped because some had changed so drastically that I could have passed them on the street and never recognized them. HAH There really wasn't the usual "popular class click" it seemed that everyone had grown passed that. Although, I remember one girl in particular ( known for dressing a bit on the wild side) got up to dance in an outfit that was reminiscent of the late 60's ( tight, lycra mini-skirt) and probably should have stuck to wearing something a bit more flattering. HAH All in all it was a good time. I'm sure you will be fine!! You look terrific now and I'm sure you haven't changed that much since high school. :)
Ugh! We tend to like the smaller class get togethers that happen in the city rather than going the campus every five years - they seem more genuine somehow. Happy weekend, Mona!

Mona, have fun!
The last I attended was my 25th only the 2nd time to go to a reunion.
It was fine and I did enjoy talking to people! It was interesting that most of the women looked much better than the men!

You will have the BEST time...can hardly wait to hear all the details about the big event! You look so beautiful, no on will believe that you could possibly be attending your 35th - happy weekend ~
Mona, Have a wonderful time. I love the cat image....Cute post!
Love the pix of the cat. I agree with Design Chic. You look fabulous and will have a great time. My golden high school reunion is this year and we're going. I'm concerned about what to wear, what to say after all those years too. We decided to make a trip of it and stop to see friends along the way. As corny as this may sound, we may stop in Memphis and tour Graceland. PBS has been having lots of Elvis specials as part of their fund raising and it reminded both of us what a wonderful entertainer he was.
Have fun and please share. We all have to go though it sooner or later.

I've never been to my class reunions. The timing never worked out. Would love to attend them. I hope you had a great time, and please do a follow up post :)
