Cultivating A Beautiful Life...
Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 02:47AM
It's that time again...when a varied group of bloggers that make up the group By Invitaton Only formed by the talented and gifted Marsha of Splenderosa, post our version of a given topic..
This is Chapter Eight...
![]()
Our theme for this month with a special nod to Spring is "Possibilities and Rebirth" the "Garden" as a metaphor for life...
So many of life's lessons can be learned from gardening...Cultivating a beautiful garden...or a beautiful life is one in the same...
It requires...pondering... planning... creating... perseverence... patience... pruning...nourishment.. love...care...

"You Are Now Entering a Stress-Free Zone."
This is my favorite of all the images.
And, what a beautiful post, Mona. I know how busy you are and so appreciate your joining us each month. I hope you have time to hop around to visit the other participants as we each have pretty much the same thoughts, however, said so differently.
Have a wonderful week and lovely Easter weekend with friends and family.

A stress-free zone- aahhh! So true. I rarely get headaches, but if I do, I just step into the garden and it fades away.
My other two favorites are the gorgeous purple clematis and that darling little flower girl. You just want to scoop her into your arms and smother her with kisses!
Is your shop just bursting now?
Lovely - charming - 'cultivating' - chirpy - interesting and fruity!
A wonderful tribute to nature and spring, Mona! Thanks for all these beautiful and uplifting images!

Mona,
This is the perfect kick-off to spring gardening. Wow, what beautiful images. So true, when I spend time in my garden I know my blood pressure drops and I feel refreshed and my spirit is renewed. Thank you for some of these garden ideas. Love the formal victory garden, complete with garden sheds.

Hi Mona! Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you're a fellow ivy lover (and that you arranged to have a bit at your house too ;)). Maybe your husband will be consoled by the Oxford study -- researchers think its actually protecting rather than harming the walls!
Enjoy your Easter!
Keri
Mona, it's all so
beautiful I could
almost cry {happy
tears, of course}!
Your post makes
me want to run barefoot
through the grass and
maybe lie there a moment
and look up at the
clouds.....or maybe
the stars, as it's 9pm
and 59 degrees : )
Happy, Happy Easter!
xx Suzanne
